FIFA 21 best wingers - the best LW, best RW, and best LM and RMs in FIFA

The top wide players in FIFA 21 and where to find them.

The best FIFA Wingers are going to be as important as ever this year, with skillful, pacey wide players an essential part of most people's plans.

Below you'll find our lists of FIFA 21's best wingers - which includes the best FIFA LW, the best FIFA RW, and the best LM and RMs, too, ranked in order of their overall rating.

As always, be sure to take also look at the specific attributes below the surface, depending on what you want out of them. The obvious points are Dribbling, Acceleration and Sprint Speed, but think about Crossing and Long Passing if you prefer to hit the big man in the middle, and Long Shots if you're keen on cutting inside and striking from range, as well as things like Weak Foot and Skill Moves too.

For other stats-based guides, it's worth taking a look at our list of the highest potential FIFA 21 wonderkids, plus we have pages on the FIFA 21's best Goalkeepers, FIFA 21's best Defenders, the FIFA 21's best Midfielders and FIFA 21's best Strikers in the game, too.

FIFA 21 best LW - the best Left Wingers in FIFA

Yet again it's Neymar taking top spotp as the best left winger in the world, while Liverpool's Saido Mané is rapidly closing the gap behind him. Sterling gets a deserved boost in stats this year, while other notable left wingers like Rashford and Martial are absent because they've changed positions, to ST and LM respectively.

We've expanded the list to the top 20 this year, to give you a few more options to choose from.

FIFA 21 best RW - the best Right Wingers in FIFA

Messi remains obvious choice for the best right winger in the game, while Sterling's swapped to the other side. Salah is justifiably up there in second while Di Maria's rewarded for a season of fine form for PSG. Other notable changes are a fairly major downgrade for Gareth Bale of Tottenham, despite rarely playing to actual justify a change either way this year.

As with the other flank we've expanded the list of best right wingers to the top 20 this year to give you more room to manouvre.

FIFA 21 best LM - the best Left Mids in FIFA

Thanks to some utterly bizarre positioning decisions from EA Sports this year, there are plenty of quality Left Midfielders to choose from. Heung Min Son, Marcus Rashford, Sané, Costa, and Zaha are all especially strange choices at LM given all of them are fairly classic, attacking wingers, some of them even frequently playing up front. With that expanded range of options in mind we've bumped this list's length up to the top 15 instead.

FIFA 21 best RM - the best Right Mids in FIFA

Similarly to the situation on the other flank, there are a few players in this list that we'd really class as wingers over midfielders, but that does at least mean there are plenty of options if you prefer a slightly flatter midfield. Sancho is unsurprisingly the top pic - also one of the best FIFA 21 wonderkids - while Gnabry and Moura will be on-meta options thanks to their technical ability and pace.

Other things to know about picking the best FIFA Wingers

As we alluded to above, there are a few additional things to bear in mind when choosing your wide players in FIFA 21, with slightly different factors becoming more or less important depending on the mode and formation you're playing.

  • For Career Mode, potential is important too - Some players have higher built-in potential for growth than others, and if you're planning on playing at least two seasons of Career Mode then it's going to have a major impact on your squad. It's also a great way to pick up a bargain, too, so if you're keen on finding some youngsters take the time to go over our detailed list of the best FIFA 21 potential wonderkids and young players, whcih includes some of the finest young wide players in the game.
  • For Ultimate Team, remember you can use Chemistry Styles - Chemistry Styles, if you didn't know, add up to a whopping 90 points to your player's attributes, spread according to the Style you choose. You can read more on Chemistry in general in our guide to how FIFA Chemistry works, and likewise the best FIFA Chemistry Styles in our detailed guide to those, too.
  • Think about your style of play when looking at stats - We mentioned this briefly above, but certain wingers will work better in certain formations and styles. Pace in general is obviously extra-useful if you play a more direct, counter-attacking style, whilst you might want to focus more on Crossing, Short Passing, and even Tackling if you're using more central or reserved LMs and RMs.
