First things first: Germany is a wonderful place for firsts. I had my first beer there (later I had my first yard of ale, and my friend had his first stomach-pumping). I had my first schnitzel there, and my first sauerkraut, somewhat stereotypically, but less so was my first jaywalking charge. And my first sighting of a transsexual man throwing a spaniel at a police car. This week should prove another good'un for firsts, with the Leipzig Games Convention set to host a number of big games. Quite a large number in fact.

With this in mind, we've been busily scouring our archives of press releases and pinging emails to all our various contacts to find out what you can expect to see if you're going, and what you can expect to read about if you're not. What follows is a list of confirmed games, and while a few may be behind closed doors and others may only appear on certain formats, you can be sure that lurking somewhere in Leipzig will be all of the following. Please also bear in mind that some publishers (and in particular the platform holders) are trying to keep things quiet until the day. With that flurry of disclaimers in mind, read on.
