Black Ops: Escalation gets all-star cast
Buffy, Freddy Krueger, Romero lined up.
Call of Duty: Black Ops developer Treyarch has lined up a starry voice cast for the game's forthcoming Escalation DLC pack.
Robert Englund (Nightmare on Elm Street), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead) and Danny Trejo (Machete) all lend their vocal talents to Call of the Dead – a new zombie mission included in the pack along with four new multiplayer maps.
It's apparently inspired by legendary horror director George Romero, who will star as himself in the new level.
"This is Treyarch's tribute to the legendary George Romero, who truly defined the zombie genre and whose incredible work has been such an inspiration to our team," commented Black Ops director Dave Anthony.
"It was an absolute honour to work with such an amazing and talented cast whose passion and energy brought their characters instantly to life. Fans are going to love this."
Escalation is available for download on Xbox 360 from 3rd May, with PC and PlayStation 3 roll-outs to follow some time thereafter.
