Call of Duty: Black Ops was the biggest-selling game of the year in the UK last year, according to the UK Interactive Entertainment Association and Chart-Track.

FIFA 11 came in second, followed by Just Dance, Red Dead Redemption and Wii Fit Plus.

The best-selling Wii game of 2010 was Just Dance, with only one game released in 2010 - Just Dance 2 - making the platform's top five for the year.

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 charts were virtually identical save for the respective appearances of platform exclusives Gran Turismo 5 and Halo: Reach. Treyarch's FPS came out on top on both systems.

Elsewhere, Professor Layton and the Lost Future took the DS crown, with FIFA 11 dominating on the PSP and Football Manager 2011 on the PC.
