Doesn't clash with Eurogamer Expo.

Blizzard's fifth annual fan convention BlizzCon 2010 will take place on 22nd and 23rd October.

The inventor of Warcraft, Diablo and StarCraft picked the dates to avoid conflict with the Eurogamer Expo, probably, which takes place from 1st to 3rd October.

BlizzCon 2010 will return to the Anaheim Convention Center, according to Kotaku and will offer hands-on time with games as well as developer panels, presentations, tournaments, dressing-up competitions and freebies.

Tickets cannot be bought yet and there's no date sign-posting their arrival. Demand will be astronomical.

If you cannot make it, Blizzard no doubt plans to offer a live stream of the event after a successful service debut last year.

Blizzard has a big 2010 ahead, as WOW expansion Cataclysm and StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty prepare for launch and Diablo III creeps closer.
