Call of Duty WW2 is adding Egypt, Dunkirk and dogfighting

Second DLC arrives in two weeks for PS4.

Egypt, Dunkirk, a secret Nazi rocket base and aerial dogfighting - these are the highlights of The War Machine, Call of Duty's upcoming second DLC pack.

Due to launch on 10th April for PlayStation 4 (and then a month after for PC and Xbox One), The War Machine will come as part of the latest COD's season pass. Or, alternatively, you can buy it separately.

Egypt is a nice addition - it's the first time the game has visited Northern Africa. Expect to see the Sphinx, and Pyramids. It's very Assassin's Creed Oranges.

Then there's Dunkirk, as seen in the film Dunkirk but better portrayed - in my opinion - in Atonement, a much better film.

While we're talking films, this shot in particular reminds me of the cinema from Inglorious Bastards. It's part of Operation Husky, a new War mode offering, which starts here on the ground but will then let you shoot planes over Sicily. Activision's keeping images of the dogfighting bit under wraps.

Here's a new map set in a secret V2 rocket base:

And finally, here's The Shadowed Throne, another chapter of Nazi zombie shooting, just as history intended.

It's a busy time for Call of Duty. As Eurogamer confirmed last week, we should be hearing about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered very soon. It's single-player only, but will come with a lower price point.
