Catlateral Damage is a first-person cat simulator
What more do you need to know?
If you're anything like me, you probably spend much of your time wondering what your cat is thinking about. And until someone creates a human/feline telepathy device we'll never know. But if you simply want to play as a cat then indie developer Chris Chung has you covered.
His latest work-in-progress, Catlateral Damage, is a first-person cat simulator in which you're tasked with destroying as much of your owners belongings as you can before they return home. Think of it like Chibi-Robo in reverse. So far it's only a simple prototype created for 7DFPS, the week long game jam dedicated to the first-person shooter, but Chung intends to spruce it up into a retail release. He's even got a Steam Greenlight page for it.
The final commercial version will include every room in the house, far more items to wreck, and multiple game modes like Time Attack and Cat Ops. it will also have music, achievements, and Oculus Rift support. Now I wonder if he'll add a power-up that lets you poop on things.
Catlateral Damage is planned for release later this year on PC, Mac and Linux. You can play the free browser-based prototype at the official Catlateral Damage site.
