Christina Aguilera has played Pokémon Legends: Arceus before you
It's what a girl wants.
Christina Aguilera stars in the latest Nintendo Switch advert, offering a glimpse of the forthcoming Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
She's just the latest in a string of popstars playing Nintendo. Remember Beyoncé having a blast with Rhythm Heaven on the DS? Or when Girls Aloud battled it out playing Mario Kart?
Now it's the turn of the Lady Marmalade singer to show us how she Nintendos, here playing along with her family.
First up she plays some Pokémon Legends: Arceus with her daughter, which does give a glimpse of the game's graphics on the slick OLED display. It looks beautiful, no matter what they say. Then again, Christina is clearly a fan after she sang the credits song for the film Mewtwo Strikes Back
Then, hilariously, she plays Among Us with her son because ain't no other man to play with. Except it's not a game that really works in two player mode, so it's no surprise when he ejects her for playing dirrty as the imposter.
"It's how it works," he says. Quite.
Lastly Christina invites friends to come on over baby for some Mario Kart, where she proves herself to be a real fighter. A win is impossible though and she does seem pretty hurt when she loses.
Nintendo, it seems Christina really is a fan of your body of work. And it's not long until Pokémon Legends: Arceus is out like a genie in a bottle for the rest of us to play - it's released on 28th January.
