New DLC due later this year will let you use the Vita as a controller for LittleBigPlanet 2, Sony has announced.

The update will add new cross-platform story content, stickers and additional features designed to take advantage of the Vita's touch screens and motion control functionality.

There's no release date yet for the update yet, nor a confirmed price tag.
