Dara O Briain's Go 8 Bit gets second and third series
Was an O Briainer.
Dara O Briain's Go 8 Bit will return with a second and third series.
The UKTV Original gaming panel show debuted on Dave earlier this year, and obviously did well enough for it to get renewed, this time with 10 episodes per series. Dave said it was one of the channel's five biggest shows of 2016.
Host Dara O Briain returns alongside team captains Steve McNeil and Sam Pamphilon. Ex-Eurogamer lovely Ellie Gibson, who penned a behind the scenes article for us earlier this year, is also back.
For the uninitiated, Go 8 Bit features celebrity guests who compete on a variety of games. Every episode ends with a physical challenge. It started life as an Edinburgh show created by Steve McNeil and Sam Pamphilon but hit our tellys this year.
Dara O Briain said: "What bittersweet news. The more time I spend making this fun exciting show about video games, the less time I have to play fun, exciting video games, and I'm already pretty bad at video games. In fact, the more I make this show the less qualified I am to be a guest on it. Now there's an irony."
