Dark Souls 2 - merchants, armour, weapons, rings
How to find every merchant available in Dark Souls 2, what they sell, and what you need to do to gain access to them.
There are many merchants spread throughout Dark Souls 2, and each one's worth paying a visit to at least once if you want to bolster your character's combat prowess. Here's our guide to tracking down each one, and what you'll be able to buy once you've found them.

Carhillion of the Fold | No-Man's Wharf | Magical items, spells | Located at the end of the dock in this region. Must have a base Intelligence stat greater than 7 |
Chancellor Wellager | Drangleic Castle | Weapons, armour, Pyromancies, Miracles, consumables | Wellager will also teach to you the 'This One's Me' gesture |
Chloanne | Harvest Valley | A variety of items essential for upgrading armour and weapons | Chloanne relocates to Majula after speaking with her several times |
Cromwell | Brightstone Cove Tseldora | Miracles | Cromwell can also remove the Sins you acquire from attacking neutral NPCs |
Darkdiver Grandahl | Shaded Ruins | Items, spells | Talk to him in Shaded Ruins, Black Gulch and Drangleic Castle to join covenant |
Felkin | Hunstman's Copse | Hexes | Must have a base Faith stat greater than 8 |
Gavlan | No-Man's Wharf | Poison items | Gavlan moves to Harvest Valley and Doors of Pharros after talking to him. Also buys items from players |
Gilligan | Earthen Peak | Ladders | Buy a ladder and then talk to him several times to have him relocate to Majula |
Grave Warden Agdayne | Undead Crypt | Weapons, armour, items, scrolls | Don't carry a lit torch near him unless you fancy a fight |
Head of Vengarl | Shaded Woods | Weapons, consumables, spells | You'll find this poor decapitated head in a pile of rubble in the Shaded Woods |
Lenigrast the Blacksmith | Majula | Repairs and reinforcements | Buy the Blacksmith Key from Melentia to open shop |
Licia | Heide's Tower of Flame | Miracles | After talking to Licia several times she'll relocate to Majula. Bribe Licia to unlock the Hunters Copse door |
Magerold of Lanafir | Iron Keep | Armour, consumables, spells | Hand Magerold a Petrified Egg to unlock him as a merchant |
Maughlin | Majula | Armour | Initial stock is basic but evolves as you progress through the game |
