Darksiders 2, Aliens and Hitman among games heading to OnLive this year
New MultiView feature unveiled, integration with LG and Google TVs at E3.
At E3 today, cloud gaming service OnLive announced that a bunch of new games from the likes of Sega, THQ and Square Enix will be heading to its service this year.
The new games include Darksiders 2, Metro: Last Light and South Park from THQ, Hitman: Absolution from Square Enix and Aliens: Colonial Marines from Sega. The full list is below.
The company also unveiled its new MultiView feature, which allows players to use picture-in-picture display to see what their friends and team-mates are seeing and to communicate with them using text and voice chat.
Not only that, but it revealed that updates to its in-browser platform should reduce the friction for people who want to try things out. This will be good for publishers and retailers who want to demo games to you without your having to sign up or login.
It should be a one-click process if you've ever used OnLive before, two-click if you haven't but already have Java, and a total ballache if you haven't and don't have Java. Only kidding - it should be three clicks.
