Dead Space 2 prequel revealed
Choose Your Own Adventure-style comic.
Dead Space 2 will be preceded by a downloadable Choose Your Own Adventure-style comic this autumn, EA has announced.
Dubbed Dead Space Ignition, this has been made by Visceral Games and comic writer Anthony Johnston for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
Dead Space Ignition offers an interactive narrative with multiple paths and four unique endings, each of which unlock a suit for hero Isaac Clarke to wear in Dead Space 2.
Your task in Ignition is to survive the Necromorph outbreak on The Sprawl space station that, hours later, Isaac Clarke will be sent to clean up in Dead Space 2. Along the way you'll face three unique hacking mini-games that will test both reflexes and brain power.
There's no word on price.
Dead Space 2 will be released on 28th January for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
