Dead Space Ignition out next week
Cheap as chips on Xbox Live Arcade.
Visceral Games' downloadable Dead Space 2 primer, Ignition, is due for release on Xbox Live Arcade next Wednesday.
Not only is it out on 13th October, but it only costs 400 Microsoft Points (£3.40 / €4.80).
There's no word on a PlayStation Network date as the news comes by way of Xbox Live's Major Nelson, but there's every chance it will be out at the same time on both formats.
We've contacted EA for clarification.
Ignition is set between Dead Space 1 and 2 and is a survival horror text-based adventure game, apparently. It shouldn't be confused with prequel Dead Space: Extraction, which came out on Wii last year.
It should, however, be described as a "midquel" or an "interquel" according to Wikipedia. Awesome.
Dead Space 2 is due out for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 28th January. Check out our Dead Space 2 preview for reasons to look out for it.
