Death Stranding Episode 11 Clifford Unger: How to defeat Cliff in battle
How to take down Cliff in the final supercell.
Death Stranding Episode 11: Clifford Unger comes after you've made the long trek back east as part of Episode 10.
Just as you recently defeated Higgs, it's now time to take down another enemy - Cliff - in battle.

Order 67: Escape the Battlefield
Your first objective, as always when you encounter a supercell, is to cross the battlefield and go to Cliff.
Press Up on the D-Pad to activate the flashlight. As with other battlefields, go straight ahead to pick up your dropped cargo, then follow the route directly ahead towards the circle on the map, weaving through the battle around you.
Once you arrive at your destination, you'll encounter the now-familiar firefight with Cliff himself and his soldiers.
This one works a little differently because of foliage, which is a double-edged sword. You can use the plants to hide, allowing you to stealth attack enemies to kill them instantly, as well as Cliff for some easy damage.
At the start of the encounter, you can easily enough go clockwise around the pond and stealth all the enemies, before doing the same to Cliff just off to the side. You can do this in later encounters too if you are lucky, but if you are spotted, be prepared to quickly equip a weapon and fight.
When you are spotted, however, the foliage will also obscure the locations of those attacking you. As you fight, take note of good positions of cover - fallen logs, whales - and use them as cover.
If you get caught in a firefight, flee to one of these and be sure to take the time to have your blood bags start to transfuse before you emerge again.
Otherwise, it's much the same as other encounters. Grab weapons as you go, make sure you have a blood bag equipped, and whenever you take down Cliff, follow the trail he lives behind to find his next location.
After three or four relocations, the battle with Cliff ends. You'll then begin Episode 12.
