Deep Silver reveals DJ Star
DS turntabalism for late 2009.
Deep Silver plans to join the turntabalism gang with DJ Star on DS later this year.
The game follows spinners from beginners to winners until they can pack stadiums or Brighton beaches like Fatboy Slim.
The touch-screen acts as a deck that players can simulate scratching on, and French developer Game Life promises several real-life DJ features to fiddle with.
We're also told to expect 40 popular tracks covering Electro to R&B and more; mini-games; and a creation studio to make our own music in. We'll even be able to swap tracks with our friends over Wi-Fi.
We've got one lonely screenshot in our DJ Star gallery for you to look at.
DJ Star follows in the beat of big-name console ventures Scratch: The Ultimate DJ by Genius Productions and DJ hero by Activision. Both use turntable peripherals, both are due out this year and both have been in a legal spat with each other recently, which always excites us.
