Destiny 2 Challenge Mode solutions - How to complete this week's Challenge and get the Take the Throne Challenge Reward

How to complete the latest challenge.

Destiny 2 Challenge Mode is an additional task you must complete during a regular Raid encounter in order to receive bonus rewards.

Similar to the original Destiny, these rewards are cosmetic and optional but exclusive all the same - with each one offering a unique Emblem as well as Raid-specific drops.

If you want to read more about the Raid, our Destiny 2 Leviathan guide and walkthrough can be help with every main encounter, including the Castellum, Royal Pools, Pleasure Gardens, Gauntlet and final boss, as well as how to access and explore the Labyrinth underbelly.

Destiny 2 Challenge Mode requirements

Each week, a new Challenge will be available for your Raid team to complete in the Leviathan Raid, with a Challenge taking place in each of the Raid encounters.

Bathing Pool Challenge

To complete this challenge, the 'middle plate' must always be occupied by a player. This is where you recharge your buff, so when a player comes over from one of the corners, you have them stay in the middle.

According to the Destiny subreddit, you cannot even jump at any point, otherwise the Challenge will be failed. However, standing anywhere in the water will count for the Challenge, giving you some wiggle room.

Gauntlet Challenge

To complete this challenge, those shooting the arrows cannot stand on a plate more than once. This means that over the three rounds, they must stand on the upper plate, lower plate and do one of the Gauntlet runs.

Pleasure Gardens Challenge

To complete this challenge, the prism holders can only shoot one flower each per round. This means the maximum buff you can get each round is 24x, so ensure you have a decent amount of damage output to clear the beasts. As always, having one player per beast will help during the damage phases.

Calus Challenge

To complete this challenge, during the damage phase instead of using one plate at a time, all four plates must be occupied at once. According to Arekkz in the below video, the best way to do this is to have two players on each front plate (allowing the bulk of your team to deal more damage than if you were spread out) and one player for each of the two back plates.

It means the run will take longer, as you essentially are doing damage for the duration of a single plate instead of four.

And that is all four Challenges explained, and each week one of the above will be active at any given time.
