Diddy Kong confirmed for Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS

Donkey Kong sidekick Diddy Kong will again be a playable character in the upcoming versions of Super Smash Bros.
Diddy's return was confirmed today in the latest update from Smash Bros. series boss Masahiro Sakurai, timed to coincide with the launch of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
The diminutive ape first joined the fighting series' roster for Wii incarnation Smash Bros. Brawl and quickly became a popular fighting choice.
Diddy is the 24th confirmed character for Smash Bros.' upcoming 3DS and Wii U versions - the last of which, newcomer Little Mac from the Punch-Out!! series, was revealed just last week.
