Digital art store launched for PS3, PSP
Customise your XMB in The Studio.
The PlayStation Store gets a new digital art emporium this week called The Studio, Sony has announced.
As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, you can now pick up a range of static and dynamic themes for your user interface created by some of the world's "most coveted and cutting edge graphic and digital artists, illustrators and graphic designers."
Contributors include Jasper Goodall, who has crayoned a few Muse album covers, and Rex Crowle, one of the artists behind LittleBigPlanet.
New themes will be added every week for the next two months, with monthly updates the norm thereafter.
They will cost you between €0.99 and €2.99 a pop, though The Studio Theme is available to download for free for the next two weeks to celebrate the launch.
PlayStation Plus subscribers get special treatment: a 20 per cent discount on all themes and six freebies a year. Your first free theme will be available to download on 20th April.
