DiRT 3 PS3 online multiplayer borked
Needs VIP Pass from PlayStation Store.
Rally racer DiRT 3's online multiplayer is stuck in the mud on PS3 until Sony gets the PlayStation Store back up and running.
The Store is needed to redeem Codemasters' VIP Pass. DiRT 3's online play is locked without it.
"It is a really unfortunate situation," Codemasters communications manager Andy Gray told Videogamer. "But we are positive that everything is being done to rectify the service as soon as possible."
When will the PlayStation Store return? Sony has not set a date. A statement yesterday said Sony's aim was to have it live "by the end of May".
DiRT 3's VIP Pass is free for new owners - although second hand buyers will be asked to stump up 800 Microsoft Points or £6.29 on PS3 for it.
It also enables the game's YouTube functions, allowing users to upload their replays from the game.
Martin returned a mud-flinging 9/10 in Eurogamer's DiRT 3 review.
