Doom Eternal - Mars Core collectable locations

Where to find all hidden collectables on Mars Core.

Mars Core is the seventh level of Doom Eternal, following on from Arc Complex.

The goal here is simple, you have to shoot a hole in Mars and get inside its centre by literally teleporting yourself using a cannon. It's a really on brand mission for the Doom Guy, but it's also packed with collectables.

Doom Eternal Mars Core Albums locations (2)

In the long room with the corridor filled with platforms and monkey bars, use the bouncing platform to get to the air vent, which is where the 'Doom 64 - Intro' resides.

The second album requires a bit more of legwork. In the underground area as you're just about to embark on the escape pod, look for a red button on a terminal nearby which doesn't have a prompt or glowing light on it. Get close either way and the missing prompt will appear, which will trigger a mechanism to elevate a platform in the middle of the room. From there you can hope on the vent and pick up the 'Quake Champions - Goroth' album.

Doom Eternal Mars Core Cheat Code location (1)

As you're making your way towards the escape pod, make your way to the corridor with the hole in the middle, and after crossing it you'll be able to obtain the 'Powerup Mode: Onslaught' cheat code. If you can't access it normally, look for an open air vent on the ceiling in the area before it, and jump all the way from the platform where the Praetor Suit Point guard is.

Doom Eternal Mars Core Codex Entries locations (2)

After exiting the area with the moving capsules you'll be able to grab the 'BFG-10000' codex entry.

'The Lost City of Hebeth' codex entry can be found after using the escape pod.

Doom Eternal Mars Core Empyrean Key location (1)

In the underground area as you're just about to embark on the escape pod, look for a red button on a terminal nearby which doesn't have a prompt or glowing light on it. Get close either way and the missing prompt will appear, which will trigger a mechanism to elevate a platform in the middle of the room. From there, make your way towards the room with the Slayer Key, and then proceed to the Slayer Gate nearby. Complete the arena and you'll obtain another Empyrean Key.

Doom Eternal Mars Core Praetor Suit Points locations (6)

In the area right after the laser beams as you're moving upwards using the capsules, head towards the other end of the room to obtain a Praetor Suit Point before continuing on your mission.

Before heading towards the Ion Catapult, you'll notice a secret encounter underground. In order to access it, look for the wall with a crack on it, which will lead you right to the area. Once inside, pick up the Praetor Suit Point.

Still on the same section, you'll come across a big door along with a broken entry right below it. Let yourself fall on the air and head inside, from there just follow the trail to obtain another Praetor Suit Point.

As you're continuing your journey towards the Escape Pod, look for an open air vent on the ceiling. This will lead you straight to a Praetor Suit Point after hopping on a platform.

Before entering the last arena of the level, make sure to grab another Praetor Suit Point.

Right outdoors as you're witnessing the hole in Mars, use the grappling walls on the floating platforms to get to a Praetor Suit Point. You might not be able to hop on said platform directly, so just jump and immediately jump and dash back again to get nearby and reach the ledge.

Doom Eternal Mars Core Runes location (2)

This is an easy Rune to pick up, which you will come across just by following the main mission.

Once you're done using the terminal as you're making your way towards the Ion Catapult, make sure to grab another Rune.

Doom Eternal Mars Core Secret location (1)

In the long room with the corridor filled with bouncing mechanisms and monkey bars, go all the way to the other side and hop on the floating platform to grab an Extra Life.

Doom Eternal Mars Core Secret Encounter location (1)

As you're moving to the Escape Pod look for cross-shaped room, punch the air vent and get inside the portal. This will lead you straight to a Secret Encounter.

Doom Eternal Mars Core Sentinel Batteries locations (3)

As you're making your way through the long corridors underground, make a half turn and head towards the other end by jumping on the floating platforms. A new Sentinel Battery will be waiting for you.

Once you're outdoors witnessing the massive hole you just made in Mars, make your way throughout the floating platforms and pick up the Sentinel Battery close to the tower.

There's yet another Sentinel Battery up for grabs after using the escape pod.

Doom Eternal Mars Core Sentinel Crystal location (1)

Right after going through the floating platforms outside the massive hole in mars, make sure to grab the Sentinel Crystal from the room with the terminals.

Doom Eternal Mars Core Toys locations (3)

Before using the Ion Catapult, make a turn around the corner to pick up the 'Prowler' toy, which at first will appear behind a locked door. In order to get inside, use the vent on the ceiling.

As you're moving to the Escape Pod look for cross-shaped room, punch the air vent and get inside the portal. This will lead you straight to the 'Carcass' toy, which is on the same room as the secret encounter.

In the underground area right before embarking on the escape pod onto the next area, look for the air vent that will lead you to an area with a teleporter. This will lead you to a room with a couple of zombies, along with a '?' mark that will unlock the 'Pinky' toy.
