THQ has released a single-player demo for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II. The 2.5GB file can be downloaded from Steam now.
The sampler offers the story-driven side RTS, which is a bit like Diablo but with squads, so stats and loot and experience all feature.
We're also told patch 1.2.1 was recently released, adding the Tiber Outpost map for teams to fight on plus numerous player-versus-player tweaks.
Dawn of War II launched for PC back in February, in case you hadn't noticed, and received significant praise across the board.
