Drunken Robot Pornography's full release comes to Steam
Robots gone wild.
Shooter fans the world over are awaiting Titanfall next month, but there's another giant mech FPS that came out this week on Steam that fans of arcade destruction shouldn't ignore. That game is Dejobaan's Drunken Robot Pornography.
The wonderfully titled shooter puts players in the role of jetpack-wielding bartender Reuben Matsumoto, who's tasked with eliminating his robot server Tim's army of Titan Centerfolds after stupidly deciding to give his mechanical employees sentience thinking it would improve their customer service skills. Really this just improved their world overthrowing skills, so it's off to the battle arena to stop these towering Titans.
Each level is a face-off against a colossal robot, and players are able to customise their own Titans and stages. Since Drunken Robot Pornography has been on Steam Early Access since the service's inception last spring, there are already over 300 Titans and 100 maps in the Steam Workshop.
Drunken Robot Pornography will normally be priced at £11.99 / $14.99, but is on sale for 20 per cent off until 25th February, making the current price £9.59 / $11.99.
Going forward, Dejobaan is collaborating with Popcannibal's Ziba Scott on Elegy for a Dead World, a game that has nothing to do with drinking, robots, or pornography. Instead, it will be an exercise in creative writing and an ode to romantic era poets.
