EA grabs stars for Kane's Wrath
Henstridge and Lumbly on board.
EA has signed up more Hollywood talent to appear in Command & Conquer 3 expansion Kane's Wrath.
Natasha Henstridge is first on board and is best known for her sultry starring role in the Species trilogy of films. She will be joined in the recording studio by Alias regular Carl Lumbly, who you can see a youthful side of in daytime Cagney & Lacey repeats.
Their theatrics will sit nicely alongside returning Command & Conquer veteran Joe Kucan, who won us all over years ago with his original performance as Brotherhood of Nod commander Kane.
Kane's Wrath tells the story of the Brotherhood rise to power after the Second Tiberium War, and apparently we're in for something really unique in the campaign this time around.
It will also introduce lots of new gameplay bits and bobs. There is a new risk-like global strategy map to to conquer, by pushing your forces around the world before hopping into the familiar RTS commander's chair for individual battles.
The Xbox 360 version is also getting a revamped control system based around a radial interface, which is supposed to make everything much easier.
On top of all this are six new sub-factions to play around with, and loads of new units, structures and powers for the GDI, Nod and Scrin factions.
Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars was released on PC in March and Xbox 360 in May. While it doesn't feature the same depth as something like Supreme Commander or Total War, for fast and fun battles it can barely be topped.
Head over to our Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars review for a closer inspection. We didn't review the 360 port, but it's just as good and the controls work surprisingly well.
Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath is due for release on PC and Xbox 360 next spring.
