EA sits on UK charts throne
Big debuts can't shift it.
EA has remained at the top of the UK all-formats charts this week, where Medal of Honor: Airbone soared above big-name competition from Midway, Nintendo and Sony.
That's according to Chart Track data interpreted by the futuristic brain of GamesIndustry.biz, which saw Stranglehold debut at number two despite being released only on Xbox 360 - the PS3 version will follow in October.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 was still swinging well at three this week, while Nintendo's new Wii torch-bearer, Super Paper Mario, could only manage fourth.
These were followed by familiar faces Wii Play and More Brain Training on DS in fifth and sixth respectively.
Meanwhile Sony's autumn blockbuster Heavenly Sword managed to slash its way into the charts at seventh, in front of The Sims 2: Bon Voyage in eighth and the original Brain Training in ninth.
Last but not least was BioShock, which kept its head above water to round off the best sellers in tenth.
Further down in the murky waters of 'all the rest' were Colin McRae: DiRT, which re-entered at 11th thanks to the freshly released PS3 version, and Forza Motorsport 2 - showing its face again thanks to strong sales from a promotional bundle.
