Elite Dangerous: Horizons hits Xbox One by June
Punch it.
Elite Dangerous: Horizons will launch on Xbox One by June, developer Frontier has said.
Horizons, already out for the PC version of the game, is the second season of Elite Dangerous. It includes 2.0: Planetary Landings and the upcoming 2.1: The Engineers expansion.
Planetary Landings lets you land on planets, as you'd expect, in a SRV Surface Recon Vehicle.
The Engineers revamps the missions and beefs up the customisation and crafting options for your ship.
Frontier said future gameplay updates will debut for PC and Xbox One simultaneously. These include:
- Multicrew, allowing teams of players to assume roles aboard the same ship.
- Commander Creation, giving a unique appearance to players' in-game avatars.
- Ship-Launched Fighters, allowing larger spacecraft to carry their own short-range fighter craft for attack and defense.
All Elite Dangerous and Elite Dangerous: Horizons players on Xbox One will continue to receive free minor updates, fixes and optimisations, Frontier added.
