According to a Shacknews report, Sega is delaying Empire: Total War to "early March".

The latest in The Creative Assembly's historical strategy series for PC had an announced release date of February 6th, so it's not a particularly long wait - although Ellie's Dad is definitely going to complain about it down the Wetherspoons.

After entries set in Roman, medieval and feudal Japanese times, Empire brings the series bang up to date, relatively speaking. Set in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, it includes naval battles in Europe, the Industrial Revolution and the war of American independence.

Plenty more, including a recent hands-on and exclusive Eurogamer TV show, at the Empire: Total War gamepage.
