Eurogamer Christmas update plans
It's not the end of the world.
Merry Christmas everyone! The Eurogamer team will be taking a well-earned break between now and the start of 2013, but in the meantime we've prepared a ton of content for you to read while we're away.
For the next week you will be able to read through our Games of 2012 series, where each of our writers takes a look back at one of their favourite releases of the last 12 months. As well as our regular staff and contributors, I've tempted a couple of old friends back to the site to share their thoughts too.
Towards the end of December, we'll name our overall Game of the Year, voted for by staff and contributors, and then you'll be able to read the Eurogamer Readers' Top 50 Games of 2012 list on New Year's Eve.
We have a few other festive bits and bobs for you to enjoy too, including today's Christmas Quiz podcast and the Eurogamer Christmas Challenge. Can you beat my top score on the FIFA 13 shooting game? Yes probably.
Expect one of us to pop up with an update if anything huge breaks over the Christmas period, but otherwise please enjoy all the features we've lined up for you and, Mayans permitting, normal service will resume on 2nd January 2013.
Best wishes from the whole Eurogamer team!
