Eve Fanfest 2007 detailed
Lots of space in Iceland.
CCP has revealed the first details for the fourth annual EVE Online party, which will take place between the 1st and 3rd of November in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The Laugardalsholl in the Laugardalur Valleywill be the venue of choice for the 2007 Fanfest, where you'll have the chance to meet face-to-face with a galaxy of other space cadets from the game.
There will also be the chance to natter to developer CCP about the MMO, as well as take part in panel discussions, roundtables and competitions.
Last year's event attracted more than 600 of you and CCP reckons this year's turnout will double that, so book early to avoid disappointment as passes can't be bought on the door.
So, if this all sounds like something you might be interested in, you should take a look at Icelandair's special "early bird" deals, which include flights, transport, and accommodation (passes are being sold separately).
These offer UK attendees a piece of the action for GBP 259; American party-goers a trip for USD 645; French frolickers a place for EUR 399; and German go-getters a spot for EUR 369. Prices for The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Norway are yet to be determined.
EVE Online is an MMO set in space that lets explore the outer reaches of the galaxy in your very own sci-fi vessel. The game's steadily amassed a mature and sturdy population since it was launched in 2003 - including two of our staff, which is worrying. Keep an eye out for our Eurogamers EVE Online group if you haven't seen it already.
