Stantler locations in Pokémon Legends: Arceus explained

Stantler can be found in four different biomes in Pokémon Legends: Arceus - Obsidian Fieldlands, Cobalt Coastlands, Coronet Highlands and Alabaster Icelands.

Deertrack Heights in the Obsidian Fieldlands is where you'll most likely encounter Stantler, especially since an Alpha Stantler can also be found in this location.

The yellow Pokémon head marks the location of Alpha Stantler.

Stantlers can also be found at the Windbreak Stand of the Cobalt Coastlands and within Wayward Wood of the Coronet Highlands.

In the Alabaster Icelands, you'll find Stantlers in, and on the outskirts of, the Glacier Terrace.

You'll be able to encounter Stantlers at any time of day during all forms of weather.

How to evolve Stantler into Wyrdeer in Pokémon Legends: Arceus explained

To evolve Stantler into Wyrdeer - a normal and psychic-type - in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you need to use Psyshield Bash in Agile Style 20 times.

Once you've achieved this feat with a Stantler, the ability to evolve it will be automatically unlocked.

Stantler learns Psyshield Bash at Level 21 and the attack is mastered at Level 31.

We recommend catching a Stantler in either Cobalt Coastlands or Coronet Highlands, because they will already know Psyshield Bash and may even have the move mastered. You may, however, need to use the 'Change move' function to ensure Psyshield Bash is in its current moveset.

If your chosen Stantler knows Psyshield Bash but is below Level 31, Zisu in the Training Grounds of Jubilife Village will master the move in exchange for a Seed of Mastery.
