FIFA 19 gets Molineux and Spurs' new stadium

FIFA 19 is having a controversial time off the pitch, but on it there are a number of welcome additions, including new officially-licensed stadiums that are a first for the series.

Most notably, Wolves' stadium Molineux is in FIFA for the first time. The recently-promoted Premier League club have always played at make-believe ground Ivy Lane in the FIFA series, so fans are getting a kick out of finally seeing their home officially licensed. (Ivy Lane is still in FIFA 19, by the way.)

The official Wolves Twitter account is having a bit of fun with the addition, too.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank Ivy Lane for being a fantastic host to the club over recent years.

Elsewhere, Spurs new stadium is in FIFA 19. This stadium still hasn't opened yet, and it still doesn't have a name, so in FIFA 19 it's simply called Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

As expected, an officially-licensed Signal Iduna Park, home of Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund unceremoniously tore up their contract with Konami to be a partner club for PES 2019, which meant they're not officially-licensed in that game. Now, lo and behold, their stadium is back in FIFA 19 after skipping FIFA 18.
