Activision has added the first downloadable content for Guitar Hero World Tour to Xbox Live.

Surprised? We obviously were. Bertie was so surprised that he originally wrote this news item telling you the content was for Rock Band instead. Which is similar to the mistake we're going to make at the office later when we attempt to nail stuff to the wall next to his head.

Anyway, there's a Classic Rock Track Pack featuring "Rock and Roll Band" by Boston, "Jessie's Girl" by Rick Springfield, and "Hot Blooded" by Foreigner. This costs 440 Microsoft Points (GBP 3.74 / EUR 5.28). Individually, the tracks are 160 MSP (GBP 1.36 / EUR 1.92). These aren't available on PlayStation Network yet according to Sony. And our eyes.

There are also two free track packs as well: a Neversoft Track Pack featuring "Anything" by An Endless Sporadic and "Electrorock" by Sworn; and a Guitar Duel Track Pack giving you access to the Zak Wylde and Ted Nugent duel tracks from the main game for use as proper songs. Otherwise, you'd be limited to playing them in the tug-of-war boss levels.

Guitar Hero World Tour has yet to be given a release date, but our money is on 7th November. You can expect to read our review on Monday morning in the early hours. Oh, and it's Bertie's birthday today, so nobody tell him about his cock-up because he'll be mortified. And anyway, I want to do it.
