First in-game MGS4 footage
On Eurogamer TV now.
The first in-game footage of Meta Gear Solid 4 PS3 is now showing on Eurogamer TV.
It gives us a glimpse of the ageing hero stealthily making his way around a Middle-Eastern province, using his new "sneaky suit" to blend into walls, disguise himself as a statue and scare the bejesus out of opposing soldiers.
Game creator Hideo Kojima demonstrated the game in front of a Tokyo audience during a celebration of Metal Gear's 20th anniversary, having promised to do so at E3 a couple of weeks ago.
He also unveiled Metal Gear Online, a multiplayer PS3 offering inspired by the success of MGS3: Subsistence on PS2. Up to 16 of you will be able to sneak around and jump out on each other, linking up with each other's futuristic nanomachines to build a digital picture of the battlefield and enemies within it.
A closed-beta of it is expected to begin on 20th August, where 3000 people will get good look at the action - although it isn't clear if this is for Japanese PS3 owners only.
