Blizzard has released the first screenshots of Diablo 3 running on PlayStation.
Last night Blizzard's Chris Metzen took to the stage at Sony's PlayStation 4 reveal event to announce PC game Diablo 3 would be released on PS3 and PS4.
This afternoon it followed up the announcement with three screenshots, one showing the starting area of New Tristram, one the inventory screen and the other the location warp menu.
It is not clear which version of the game the screenshots are lifted from, but to us it looks like the PS3 version.
The PlayStation version has customised controls, a new user interface and a "dynamic" camera perspective. You can play single-player and team up with others in co-op multiplayer. In multiplayer, you can choose between four-player online (with matchmaking) and four-player local couch co-op.
"Diablo 3 for the PS3/PS4 will be based on the core PC game and feature all the latest updates, including Paragon levels, the Infernal Machine event, Monster Power, Brawling, and more," Blizzard said in a post on Battle.net.
