Fortnite doorbells explained
The good news is, finding doorbells is actually dead simple. there's a doorbell location next to the front door of just about every house - or general residential building - in Fortnite, which makes things easier. Here's an example of one:
They've always been located on the right of the main, front door in our experience - walk up to them and you'll see a button prompt to ring the bell, the same as if you were collecting the treasure from a weekly treasure map challenge or looting a chest.
There are plenty of places you'll find houses across the game, but remember of this challenge to work, it has to be at two named locations. Examples with plenty of houses includes Salty Springs, Snobby Shores, Pleasant Park and Retail Row - but it can be just about anywhere on the map with a name above it.

The easiest way to ring a doorbell in different named locations in a single match
For the Week 3 Challenges, you are tasked with the following:
- Ring a doorbell in different named locations in a single match (2 total, 10 Battle Stars)
First of all, unlike last season's doorbell challenge, you don't have to have another player in the house you are ringing, making things much easier.
The other part is your transportation options are much broader this time, with the addition of quadbikes and plane locations. This means you can hop into one of these, find two houses in different locations, and you're done.
However, if you are struggling, then the easiest way to ring a doorbell in different named locations in a single match is to visit the two central named locations with houses in - Retail Row and Salty Springs. These are geographically very close, making a trip even by foot pretty short. There are a host of houses to choose from, too.
If you want want to get specific - especially as both areas tend to be regularly populated by other players - then we recommend the following:
- First, drop into the west-most side of Salty Springs. The house on the northern side of the road of the named location has a doorbell.
- Ring it, and head to the north-east of the location, and there is a lorry with several quadbikes on top. Jump into one of these, and ride it to Retail Row to the north-east. (If they don't spawn for whatever reason, then you can always go on foot - but this is obviously much quicker).
- Once there, find the house in the middle of Retail Row, with the doorbell facing south. You should be able to drive in, hop off and press the button before you are noticed.
Voila - challenge completed!
