Fortnite furthest North, furthest South, furthest East, furthest West locations explained

Where to find all three giant face locations in Fortnite.

Finding the furthest North, furthest South, furthest East and furthest West locations is the objective of one of Fortnite's many Weekly Challenges.

Completing it will give you additional XP to help go towards your many Season 8 rewards.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection and Eren Jaeger skin. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

For the Week 2 Challenges, you are tasked with the following, which unlock in sequence:

  • Visit the furthest North, South, East and West points of the island

Here are the furthest North, furthest South, furthest East, furthest West locations at a glance:

First, you don't have to worry about whether or not this needs to be completed in one match - take as many matches as it needs. That said, if you can somehow reach all four points in a single match, then more power to you!

Second, all you need to do is get close to them - no other actions, such as dancing - needed. You'll also know you're in the right place thanks to a sign at the respective North location, South location, East location and West location.

Here are the North, South, East and West locations in further detail...

Fortnite furthest North location

You'll find Fortnite's furthest North location near to Junk Junction in the north-west part of the map.

Specifically, there is a lot to the east of Junk Junction, with the furthest north point directly north from there.

There's a couple of trees and rocks here, with a worn path in the grass to let you know you're in the right place. If you're struggling, look for the final 'N' in Junction on the map, and go directly north to the cliff edge.

Fortnite furthest South location

Fortnite's furthest South location is right by Lucky Landing, in the middle of the south edge of the island.

It's not directly south of the named location - it's a little to the east. As with the others, use the warn away grass and rocks to guide your way.

If you're having difficulties finding it, then go directly south of the 'N' on the map.

Fortnite furthest East location

Fortnite's furthest East location is next to the abandoned mansion that's south of Lonely Lodge.

Specifically, it's south-east of that, but before you reach the desert boundary. There's a handful of rocks on the cliff edge to highlight the location.

If you're struggling, then from the edge of the desert above the racing track, hug the cliff as you go north, and the sign is against the rocks as the cliff juts out to the right.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is here! It brings a free Lego Insider skin and redemption codes with it, along with a new Victory Umbrella. We've also got pages on new features like Medallions, Weapon Mods, and how to complete a Train Heist. Meanwhile, learn what the best weapons are in the current season, how to get XP fast, and what the best PC settings are to help earn a Victory Crown.

Fortnite furthest West location

Fortnite's furthest West location is right next to Snobby Shores, in the centre of the island.

Specifically, it's behind the second to south-most house in the row. Keep going east behind the house until you come to a warn patch in the grass, with the sign waiting.

If you're struggling, it's just south between the S and N in Snobby on the map.

Once you have all furthest North, South, East and West locations, then this four-part challenge is complete. Nicely done!

Already done? There are plenty of other Challenges to take on this week - so keep playing!
