How hitting a golf ball from tee to green on different holes works in Fortnite

For the Week 5 Challenges, you are tasked with the following:

  • Hit a golf ball from tee to green on different holes (5 total, 5 Battle Stars)

Another challenge from this week is the Snobby Shores Treasure Map location.

What this challenge means is there are golf tees across the map, and after hitting the ball from each one to the nearby green in five different locations, you'll complete the challenge.

How do you do that, exactly? Using the new Golf Ball Toy added in Season 5. First, purchase the Battle Pass, then reach Tier 27, giving you the Toy. Next, go to your Emotes and equip it.

Wherever you use it, you'll pull out a golf club and ball, and hit it in front of you. The way you aim it changes the type of hit - aim low for a putt, while aiming high into the air gives it a good swing into the distance.

Stand next to the tee - which is noted by the round balls and a number on a nearby sign - then locate the green, which has the red flag. If you're struggling to find the tee, then find a red flag first, then look around for the tee it's connected to - essentially working backwards. (Or, use our locations on the second half of this page.)

Now aim towards it and use the emote. You'll have to wait for it to stop rolling before the attempt is deemed successful.

Like the basketball hoop locations earlier in the season, it might take a few attempts to get it right - make sure you are aiming high enough to improve your chances. You'll know you are successful when the challenge notification appears in the top-left corner.

Also, make sure you complete the match, as quitting early can sometimes reset your accomplishment.

Though playing golf attracts a little less attention than playing basketball in the previous challenge, hitting a golf ball can see leave you open to attack. As such, you'll want to do it when you are alone, so other players can't attack you.

If you are struggling, then we recommend trying it one of the LTM modes - such as 50v50 - which splits the map so you're surrounded by other friendly players more often, meaning you won't be obstructed from climbing up and getting on with the challenge.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is here! It brings a free Lego Insider skin and redemption codes with it, along with a new Victory Umbrella. We've also got pages on new features like Medallions, Weapon Mods, and how to complete a Train Heist. Meanwhile, learn what the best weapons are in the current season, how to get XP fast, and what the best PC settings are to help earn a Victory Crown.

Their specific locations are as follows:

North-east of Lazy Links is a tee, with the green to the west:
