An interesting tactic to say the least…
Deploying pallets with cat food around the IO base is the last legendary quest for Week 13 in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7, which, like with all legendary quests, you have a week to complete.
To obtain this challenge, you need to first open a mission kit and place a jammer outside the IO base in one match, leave secret documents at a bus stop, talk with either Joey, Sunny or Dreamflower and leave an IO car at an alien settlement.
Completing this challenge will reward you with 30k XP, which will help you unlock more Battle Stars for the Season 7 battle pass.
Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection and Eren Jaeger skin. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.
Cat food pallet locations in Fortnite explained
Although you only need to place two cat food pallets, there are three different locations to choose from, which is useful due to the increased number of NPCs wandering about Corny Complex.
The first can be found near the field south of the red barn.
The second cat food pallet is located on the eastern side of the barn, just above the entrance to the IO base.
The third and final cat food pallet can be placed north of the barn.
