THQ has deployed a multiplayer Frontlines demo on Xbox Live Marketplace.

It's hefty at over a gigabyte in girth, but lets you hop into 32-player online battles so that's alright then. These are a key part of its lure too, as you get to use a massive garage of 60 vehicles to trample your opponents with.

It follows a single-player demo that was released on Live last December.

Kaos Studios is making Frontlines: Fuel of War and setting it in the troubled times of 2024, when the East (Red Star) and West (Coalition) are having a great big fight over the remaining scraps of fossil fuel.

We had a chance to play with it back in December and were excited with its potential, particularly in the multiplayer department. Pop over to our first impressions to find out more.

Frontlines: Fuel of War is due out for Xbox 360 and PC on 29th February. THQ did have a PS3 version planned, but recently canned it due to development difficulties.
