Garou: Mark of the Wolves confirmed for PS4 and Vita
Cult classic Neo Geo fighting game returns.
Garou: Mark of the Wolves, the cult classic fighting game for the Neo Geo, is coming to PlayStation 4 and Vita with online multiplayer.
Garou: Mark of the Wolves came out in Japanese arcades in 1999, before launching on the Neo Geo in 2000. A Dreamcast version arrived a year later, in 2001.
The Code Mystics, Inc-developed port arrives on PlayStation consoles with Cross Buy and Cross Play support.
Garou: Mark of the Wolves is already available to play on Xbox One via the Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility feature.
In a post on the PlayStation Blog, SNK said it announced Garou: Mark of the Wolves now because of fan requests and to coincide with Fatal Fury's 25th anniversary.
The PlayStation port includes Gallery Mode, from which you can unlock Mark of the Wolves and Fatal Fury art. Garou's original soundtrack can be sampled in the game menu, and like The Code Mystics, Inc's port of The Last Blade 2, Garou: Mark of the Wolves uses the Vancouver-based developer's proprietary netcode.
