It's Blizzard's first attempt at an MMORPG. Given that it may well be for most of its audience, too, we decided to take a closer look at why World of Warcraft has been capturing the attention of more than just the usual crowd.

It's a "Blowout!" - yes, our tyres have exploded and apparently this means we have lots of new information. Trailers (yes, plural), new shots, co-op details, voice cast exposed, big guns, pedestrian interactions, soundtrack line-up, and on it goes...

The biggest game ever. In oh so many ways.

Battlefield 1942 meets Star Wars. They get on. We hope they sire more offspring.

It's a PS2 exclusive. Again. It's boasting a huge number of changes. Again. Whether it's a facility to rob houses, the chance to fatten up, or the addition of bicycles, it all sounds good. Best of all though, San Andreas is not a city - it's a state.

Adventure and excitement. A Jedi may not crave such things, but gamers certainly do, and Obsidian Entertainment's sequel to KOTOR looks very much like it'll deliver.

EA may own the Battlefield franchise, but the Lucas empire is about to strike back...
