Massively multiplayer first-person shooter Global Agenda will be available to buy from UK shops on 10th September.

The game was launched in February as a digital download.

The retail release also includes Global Agenda's Sandstorm expansion, which introduces new weapons, a story-driven mission experience within the Sonoran OpenZone and high-level Raid content.

Future localized versions of Global Agenda are planned, including a German retail version on 29th October.

In June Hi-Rez Studios dropped the optional subscription fee for the game.

Previously, much of the online game was playable as a standard one-off retail purchase, but you had to pay a subscription to access some features, including the large scale Agency-versus-Agency metagame.

"We have a very passionate Global Agenda community in Europe," said executive producer Todd Harris.

"And with the Sandstorm expansion, the upcoming UK retail release, and European servers we're excited to grow that community further."

Quintin Smith reviewed Global Agenda for Eurogamer in February, awarding it 6/10.
