Grand Theft Auto 5 PC release date delayed until March
System specs detailed, online heists coming.
Rockstar has delayed the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5 until 24th March.
The game was previously due to launch for PC on 27th January, just a fortnight away.
"Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be," Rockstar wrote in a new blog post.
"Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March."
The game will launch with GTA Online for PC, which will support up to 30 players and include GTA Online Heists.
Rockstar's long-awaited Online Heists will arrive on consoles before the PC launch, the developer stated - so at some point in the next eight weeks.
PC versions will support 1080p 60fs viusals and up to 4K resolution, as well as triple monitor configurations.
The PC edition will also include the Rockstar Editor for editing gameplay clips and publishing them to the developer's own Social Club website and YouTube.
