Harvest Moon on UK VC
Along with Chrimbo's DKC3.
As those of you browsing this week's exciting guest-written instalment of What's New may have spotted, the Christmas release of Donkey Kong Country 3 on Wii Virtual Console has been bolstered today by the addition of the SNES version of Harvest Moon.
Like DKC3, which launched on Christmas Day, Harvest Moon asks for 800 Wii Points (approximately GBP 6 / EUR 8), and puts you in the Wellingtons of a small-time farmer working to build an agricultural empire by sowing seeds, milking cows, shearing sheep and selling stuff, before going down the pub to romance the night away and hopefully establish relations with a local maiden.
You'll be able to read about whether it stands the test of time in our regular Virtual Console Roundup soon, or you can bask in Keza's nostalgia instead. And since DKC3 was released at Christmas, we've got you a Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! screenshot gallery along with the expected peculiar Harvest Moon alternative. Enjoy.
