Here's our first glimpse of Fall Guys season 3

Emphasis on "glimpse".

Mediatonic has revealed the first glimpse of Fall Guys' all-new season 3.

And when I say glimpse, I really do mean glimpse; the zoomed-in shot doesn't give away much other than the game's signature colour palette and the underside of... well, I'm not sure, quite honestly.

The knockout battle royale already has a wide and surprising selection of tools to send us hurtling off into the pink slime, but - to me, anyway - this looks a little like a hot-pink yoyo besides the corner of a salmon-coloured cube. Curiouser and curiouser, eh?

It's been a couple of months since Fall Guys' second season arrived, bringing a medieval flavour to its immensely popular knockabout action, but developer Mediatonic also recently shared its mid-season update, introducing various improvements, round variations, and an entirely new stage known as Big Fans.

As Matt summarised at the time, both Season 2 and classic rounds have been refreshed, and there's a particular emphasis on medieval infusions, including spiky rollers and swinging scythes in hitherto familiar stages. Additionally, expect fruity surprises and gasp at Perfect Match's new wildly rotating pole - which looks as hilarious as it does mean.
