The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Capcom's zombie kill-em-up Dead Rising 2 will go on sale a day early at HMV on Oxford Street.

It's all part of the game's official launch, set for Thursday 23rd September at 150 Oxford Street.

HMV will exchange a copy of the game for your hard-earned cash between 5pm and 8pm on the Thursday. The first 100 customers will get a free goodie bag.

The PC version will be released on 28th September, as previously revealed.

Canadian developer Blue Castle Games created Dead Rising 2, but Capcom's Keiji Inafune produced.

Earlier this month Inafune told Eurogamer that Capcom hopes Dead Rising will replace the iconic Resident Evil series as its number one franchise.
