Open world gangster game Mafia 3 is set in 1968 New Orleans, 2K has said.

It's a "reimagined" New Orleans. Here's the official blurb:

The story revolves around Lincoln Clay, a "disenfranchised" Vietnam veteran.

Throughout the game you build your own crime empire. There's a cinematic trailer, below.

Mafia 3, developed by Hangar 13, comes out in 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
