Iwata keynote headlines GDC
Nintendo boss unveils "vision for the future".
Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata will offer the keynote presentation at this year's Game Developers Conference, taking place in San Francisco in March.
According to the event schedule, Iwata's talk will be entitled "Video Games Turn 25: A Historical Perspective and Vision for the Future." It will see the Nintendo boss discussing how gaming has evolved over the years and where the industry goes next.
Iwata last took to the GDC podium in 2009 when he unveiled Zelda: Spirit Tracks, so new game announcements shouldn't be discounted. However, coming in the same month as the global 3DS release, a focus on Nintendo's masterplan for its new handheld seems likely.
GDC runs from 28th February to 3rd March at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. A full Thief 4 reveal is expected to be among the show highlights.
