Jelly Deals roundup: Win a free copy of Football Manager 2017, cheap consoles, Overwatch and more
Back of the net.
A note from the editor: Jelly Deals is a new deals site launched by our parent company, Gamer Network, with a mission to find the best bargains out there. (It also has the best name.) We've invited the Jelly Deals team to share a weekly roundup of (mostly) gaming-related bargains with us, so we can pass their tips on to you. Full disclosure: if you make a purchase from one of these links, we will receive a small commission from the retailer. Hopefully you'll find it useful!
After what has felt like one of the longest weeks in history, it's a comfort to know that at the end of the day, the sun will come up in the morning, the world still spins and we still have the little things in life that make us happy. If you're reading this, that probably means one of those little things is video games, and we've got a new batch of gaming related deals for you to look through. Call it a distraction, call it retail therapy, whatever you refer to it as, maybe it's time for some good old-fashioned escapism.
We've got deals that'll work in the UK, deals that'll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US, as well as presumably many other places. But first, we need to talk about free stuff.
Giveaway time!

For the next 10-ish days, Humble is offering up what they're calling the 'Humble Unreal Engine Bundle' for the usual 'pay what you want' system. No prizes for guessing that it's comprised of games made using the Unreal Engine. Specifically, though, you can pay $1 (81p) and get copies of Shadow Complex, Dangerous Golf and Killing Floor. Spend more than the average to unlock The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, ADR1FT and The Mean Greens. Cross that finish line by paying $10 (£8.08) or more to unlock a copy of The Culling on top of all that.

Way back before all these damned zombie games started showing up everywhere, one of the key horror titles available to PC owners was F.E.A.R. Combining a first-person shooter gameplay with psychological horror and a giant dose of bullet time slow motion, the F.E.A.R. series became popular fast. Fast forward a decade and we've seen three games in the series along with some story DLC for F.E.A.R. 2. All of which you can pick up cheap on PC right now, over at Bundle Stars, where £3.26 / $5.56 will get you Steam keys for every last bit of F.E.A.R. stuff there is.

BioWare may be in the news this week for their other fanciful RPG series, but if you're the type to take wizards and warriors over space suits and shotguns, head over to Green Man Gaming. There, you can get yourself a PC copy of Dragon Age Inquisition while it's on offer for £7.99 / $9.91 and spend the next few dozen hours solving a fantasy world's problems while also escaping from the real world's problems.

This week, Microsoft decided to drop the prices of all the old style Xbox One consoles and cause a bit of a fuss on the internet while doing so. Out of the blue on Monday, you could buy Xbox One consoles of every kind for as cheap as £149.97. Xbox One Elite consoles were down to £189.99. Of course, the internet being what it is, most of these bundles sold out quickly. There is, however, a handful of the things left floating around from site to site, including this superb bundle of a 500GB Xbox One with Forza Horizon 3 as well as your choice of Forza 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Gears of War Ultimate Edition or RARE Replay, all for £169.99. Odds are, this will be gone soon too.

There's also a version of the bundle that replaces Forza Horizon 3 with Gears of War 4.
Or you could pick up the 500GB console on its lonesome for £149.97.
If you're a LEGO fan or you have family members who are obsessed, you'll know a couple of things about it. 1) There are few things worse than the feeling of unexpectedly stepping on a LEGO piece in bare feet, and 2) LEGO is super expensive. Argos decided to make things a little easier, at least on the gaming side of things, by lowering the price of all LEGO Dimensions starter packs across all formats to just £29.99. That's the game, the portal and three figures to get you going.

Just in time for Sombra to make her debut in the game itself, GAME is offering up PS4 and Xbox One copies of Overwatch for its lowest price yet - £24.99. That's the Origins Edition too (while stock lasts, at least) so you'll get your fancy extra skins to boot. Wouldn't expect this price to hang around too long, Amazon matched the offer earlier in the week but promptly sold out shortly after.
Remember earlier in this article when I said how Xbox One Elite consoles were on offer for cheap this week? For now, one of the few places I've seen that still has some stock (though admittedly not in all stores) is Argos, who is offering the console along with a copy of The Division for £209.99 right now. Add to that the current offer of a £10 gift voucher when you spend over £100, and you'll essentially get the bundle for £200. Unless stock dries up, of course.
Not to be left out, you can also pick up a PlayStation 4 Slim console in a decently priced bundle over at John Lewis. For £227.95, you'll get a 500GB PS4 Slim console and your choice of Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1 or Uncharted 4 for free with it.
With all the fuss over the PS4 Pro's release this week and the landscape of traditional games playing changing ever so slightly, you'd be forgiven for thinking it might be time to drop some cash and invest in a shiny new 4K TV. Currys is offering a 43-inch LG 4K television with HDR support for £399 right now, which is a fantastic price for a well-regarded brand and a decent sized set.
US Deals
Over in the US right now, you can pick up an Xbox One S console with copies of Battlefield 1, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and Gears of War 4 for $319.99 all together. That's a console that came out a couple of months ago paired with three games that were all released within the last two months, all for $320. You'll see no complaints from us.
Whether you need a second controller for your Xbox One that isn't a weird, scary third-party cheap one, or you need a controller to play PC games on, this one is worth a look. The new-style Xbox One S controller (with Bluetooth) is down to $42.99 over at Rakuten right now, one of the cheapest prices since this model was introduced.

Somehow, it's already been ten years since the official launch of the PlayStation Store. It's come a long way in that time, sure. It's had its ups and its downs, including some very literal downtimes. Nonetheless, it's been an entire decade of us being able to buy games and other assorted stuff digitally from the service and to celebrate, Sony has put a bunch of games and movies on sale.
