Ubisoft has announced Killer Freaks From Outer Space, a new shooter exclusive to Nintendo's Wii U.

Developed by Ubisoft Montpelier, it's a schlocky FPS set in London that sees you attempting to see off an alien invasion set.

You'll control your viewpoint via the controller's gyroscope with the pad's touch screen acting as a viewfinder.

A brief gameplay demo during a Nintendo-hosted developer round table at E3 today showed a foul-mouthed cockney protagonist blasting away at knee-high extra-terrestrials with a variety of outlandish weapons.

A multiplayer mode was also showcased which saw one player controlling the aliens via top-down strategy gameplay on one screen, while the other fended off his opponent's forces back in the standard FPS display.

It's due out in 2012, some time around the Wii U's launch. We'll have a trailer up asap.
